A Love Letter to Winter, Family, and Finding Wonder Close to Home

I’m so excited (and honestly a little emotional) to finally share something I’ve been quietly working on for months.

ILoVermont, my very first Vermont-inspired coloring book, is officially here.

This project grew slowly — the way the best things often do. It started with sketches inspired by winter walks, snow days, maple trees, and the little traditions that make Vermont feel like, well, like Vermont. Over time, those sketches turned into full scenes, and those scenes turned into a book that feels like a love letter to state where I grew up and the season that shapes it. AI helped me add MY family as a fun way to honor Vermont winter fun with my children.

Why a Coloring Book?

Coloring has always felt like a pause button to me.

It’s a way to slow down, sit together at the table, and be present — without needing to be productive or perfect. I wanted to create something that families, kids, and even adults can enjoy together. Something cozy, calm, and rooted in everyday moments.

ILoVermont isn’t about big, flashy adventures. It’s about:

Skating on frozen ponds, walking snowy trails in your snowshoes, maple sap buckets hanging quietly from trees along the dirt road, as well as winter afternoons that feel ordinary while you’re living them — and nostalgic once they’ve passed.
